According to legend, there was a most wise king, known as Gambrinus, in an area that is now known as Flanders, about the time of Charlemagne, and is said to have invented beer, as we know it today. The Founding Nobles
Therefor be it known that King Gambrinus is therefore to be held in great esteem and to be revered as the patron of brewers. 
Therefor we The Loyal Order of Gambrinus disciples of this great, wise and noble King do hereby vow and pledge to perpetuate this 1400 year old legend of King Gambrinus and the tradition that accompanies the legend.
To be a noble in The Loyal Order of Gambrinus a person must have shown their worthiness through their character, deeds and actions, that they are a connoisseur, discriminating, an aficionado, a person truly worthy, one who appreciates, enjoys and always partakes of this fine, esteemed, pure and natural beverage, this revered product of the brewers art, beer.

Therefor, we the founders and electors of The Loyal Order of Gambrinus do here by bestow upon the following, those who have shown that they are truly worthy of membership in this most distinguished order, proclaiming them King Gambrinus.  As is befitting our most noble kings, we your most humble and loyal subjects rejoice in the following candidates being inducted into The Loyal Order of Gambrinus.
